Coming out of Religious Place
I was coming out of religious place. I was happy to note that people coming to this place were neat and clean and also–they had prepared themselves in best of their clothes and make up before visiting this holy place.
All were in a happy mood and I saw bunches of people gathered hither and thither having very sweet talks. I saw some people sitting there and having talks. I also noticed that young people were also meeting each other and were throwing very sweet smiles at each other and some were meeting and exchanging talks.
When I was coming out of that holy place. I noticed that two old men were also coming out of the that place. One was walking ahead and the other was just behind him. They were having some talks which I could hear. I took interest in their talks. One said,
-“Dear Sir, Your grand son Pappu is a daily visitor. I have been noticing him daily.”
-Dear Sir–God has blessed him. He has left all bad habits. He has left eating meat and drinking wine. He has never been seen at gambling places. He has developed very good habits. “This so called Harnama stopped, turned backside and once again lowered his head and thanked God who was residing in this holy place.
-“Dear Sir–I think he is coming to meet his beloved. It shall be better if you have an eye on him. Something bad may not come out of these meetings.”
-“You are a scoundrel. You are not a man with good character. That is the reason you always think and bring bad things in your mind.”
The first man laughed and said,
-“The first man- could you remember the days of our own youth. We both were after one Bishni. One day we were caught by sangat and were given beating by them. We could save our life and ran away from this place. For months we had to remain absent from this place.”
-“Those were old days. Now the people bear better character. You were a scoundrel because of your activities and relations, I had to suffer too. In spite of lapse of long time, you could not correct yourself. You are still having bad thing in your mind.”
The first man stopped. He once again laughed and remarked,
-“Yes, You are very holy person. You ran away with Jassi and remained absent from the city for three days and I located you and brought you back. That Jassi came into your contact from this very holy place. Inspite of your marriage with Gurmeet, your are still having relations with Jassi. Jassi was blessed to you from this holy place.”
I noted that both were in a hot mood. They were ready to fight. They were still standing there and fighting by bursting words and recalling those old days. I just crossed them laughing.
